Yesterday was my 37 week check up. It became the longest doctor's appointment I have been to. I started off at the doctor's office. My blood pressure was high. It was high the last time I went to the doctor. He didn't like the numbers he saw and told me I need to go on bed rest. :( He sent me to the hospital to have test ran. They hooked me up to see if I was having contractions, listened to the baby's heartbeat and took my blood pressure every 30 mins. He also ordered blood work. We were in the hospital 3 hours doing this. They did put me in a labor and delivery room and made me stay in bed....not fun. They finally released me.
Monday I go to the doctor for another check up... and hopefully we can talk about inducing at the end of the week. He didn't want to induce because I am 37 week and the magic number is 38 weeks.
Maybe this time next week we will have Baby Luke!

I am so glad I didn't bet any money. I would have lost for sure! I was certain we were having a baby.... don't you love the "we" part. Ha!
I am glad you are going to get some much needed rest. Let everyone take care of you so you can just be taking caring of Luke. Keep us posted on what comes next! Saying a prayer for you my friend!
